Workers of several SLTB depots to continue trade union action

The trade union action commenced by the SLTB workers of several depots will continue today.

General Secretary of the All Ceylon Transport Workers Union, Sepala Liyanage said the trade union action was commenced making several demands including the demand to pay their salaries in one installment.

The trade unions also demand the increase of the workers basic salary to Rs.11,730,
Sepala Liyanage stated that they also demand that the money allocated for the Employee Provident Fund to be deposited in the bank.
