An individual has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of two monks at the Kotte RajaMaha Viharaya last night.
According to the HQI of the Mirihana Police the suspect had been arrested last night.
The suspect is a resident of the Maharagama area, he added that further investigations are being conducted into the double murder.
Two (2) monks of the Kotte Raja maha vihara were stabbed to death with the use of sharp weapons last night.
