Antenna of tsunami warning system found on Lankan shores

The police have discovered an antenna which was attached to a tsunami warning system on a buoy in the Indian ocean, at a place in the Gandara area.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Ajith Rohana said that the stolen antenna was found in Seethawella yesterday afternoon.

Information had been provided by Indian officials to NARA that based on a grading system, this antenna was in Sri Lanka.

The police suspect Sri Lankan fishermen may have stolen this antenna and brought it to the country.
