The principal of a school in the Marawila area has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusingchildren.
According to the Police Media Unit, the principal of the school was arrested following information
received by the National Child Protection Authority.
The police added that five students who were allegedly abused by the principal have been sent to the Marawila hospital for medical examination.
The students allegedly abused by the school principal are believed to be around ten years old.
The principal of the school is a 47-year-old.
