The OIC of the Wattala Police who arrested has been placed in remand custody until the 15th of this month.Speaking to Newsfirst, Police Media Spokesperson, SP Ajith Rohana said that he was arrested on suspicion of being dishonest to court, in relation to a production of the particular case.
This order was issued after the he was produced before the Wattala Magistrate's Court last afternoon.
The Wattala OIC was apprehended by a special police team operating under the instructions of the senior DIG of the Western Province.
