The Ministry of Health has decided to provide special training for the police and the three armed forces onidentifying Dengue breeding grounds and destroying such places.
The aim of the training is to make the Dengue eradication programme more efficient.
Under this initiative, security forces personnel will be selected at district level and provided the necessary training.
Meanwhile, twenty five teams consisting of special officers from the Ministry of Health are to be deployed for
monitoring activities during the Dengue Eradication Week from May 14 to 20,
The Ministry of Health added that these teams will monitor Dengue eradication activities in all districts
and compile a report.
