No modifications without approval, says Dept. of Motor Traffic

The Department of Motor Traffic states that motor vehicles cannot be subjected to modifications without obtaining the Department’s permission.

Commissioner of the Department Lalith Dharmapriya stated that the modifications can only be made after obtaining approval from the department through the due process.

Meanwhile, the Cinnamon Garden police have seized a vehicle with modifications.

Police stated that steps have been taken to hand over a report to the courts on the seized vehicle.

The vehicle that was seized belongs to a person from the Nawala area.
