Statements recorded after discovery of suicide jacket

Police have recorded statements from ten persons in connection with the discovery of a suicide jacket from a resort in Kataragama.
Police said the jacket will be produced before the Tissamaharama Magistrate today.


The jacket was inspected by the Government Assistant Analyst yesterday.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Ajith Rohana said that it has been revealed that the jacket has been
manufactured five years ago.

 The Police Media Spokesperson stated that it might have been hidden during the era of the war.
