The distribution of school text books for next year will commence today.
An event in this regard will be held today at the Girls’ High School in Kandy under the auspices of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne.
Commissioner General of Education Publications W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara noted that the Government has spent 3000 million rupees to print these text books.
