One hundred and forty thousand applications received for re-correction

One hundred and forty thousand (140,000) applications have been received for re-correction of answer scripts of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination following the release of the results.

According to the Department of Examinations, all preliminary arrangements have been made for the
re-correction of papers.

Meanwhile, the correction of answer scripts of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination was expected to be concluded on Sunday.

Accordingly, twenty eight schools that were closed for the correction of O/L papers that began on January 22 will re-open today.
